As you're probably aware, we at Nintendo Life are committed to bringing you the biggest, best, and most important news stories every day of the week. This is not one of those times, and so instead we're sticking the NES Classic Edition in as many household objects as we can find.
You can see it all unfold in the video above, as well as an exclusive interview with a member of the UK Ministry for Console Containment, who provided a great deal of support in our efforts.

insert inappropriate joke here
@Joeynator3000 Inserted.
@DarthNocturnal OBJECTION!
If the NES Mini is in fact a miniature NES, then it would naturally fit inside an NES no matter what, rendering any test obsolete because the answer is clear! The prosecution requests that the defense stop trying to send the court on a pointless goose chase. It's time to wrap this up. Deliver the verdict now your honor, before the court gets caught up in this bluff.
For science
@BlatantlyHeroic
Poor Nintendo Life... I feel for you guys...
The only question that matters - can it fit inside an NX home, hybrid, Pro, Go or handheld?
What is the sound of 1 NX clapping?
If an NX falls in the woods...
Nice video Alex, I hope we'll be seeing more of Prof. Pringle in the future. Maybe in the library with a candlestick?
Oh well, back to replying to all of my replies, I needed a break.
As soon as I read the title I knew it'd be an Alex vid.
As ever, top work. I'm glad someone remembers this whole gamer thing is supposed to be fun!
"So, is there any tread left on the tyres? Or at this point would it be like throwing an NES Classic Mini down a hallway?"
There's your inappropriate joke well and truly "inserted".
Kill Professor PeePee. The best comparison was the sandwich.
And this ladies and gents... Is why we come here. Hilarious video.
@Mii_duck Exactly my thoughts.
Is that professor qualified for this study? What are all his credentials?
Enjoyable video!
The information...
is overwhelming...
I'm considering getting one only to see how it can be modded.
I enjoy Alex's videos but don't always find them to be that funny. His role as a timid professor, though, was genuinely quite funny.
I felt like many of the places the NES Mini was put in would have worked with a normal-sized console. I wish Alex had put it in more small and obscure places like the sandwich. It would've been funny if he put it in a pink "man purse" strapped over his shoulder, for example.
@Exy I'm betting mods for this thing will require soldering; I had thought about it too, but I think if I manage to get one at all I will keep it pure for collectors reasons. If I want a hack box I can use an Ouya or a Raspberry Pi.
Darn, I was pretty sure it could fit inside a DVD player..
Good thing we have science!
Nintendo Life, keep up the state of the art research.
I totally misread that as "What will fit inside the NES Classic Mini".
Ok come on guys, this is silly and pointless.
I won't go further with my criticism because Alex's videos are always awesome.
But the subheading ('It's better than an NX rumour') really says it all: There are no news and everyone's waiting for the NX reveal.
Best...Alex...video...ever! More Prof Pringle please.
I'm still wondering what that My Nintendo Ticket included with the Famicom and possibly the Mini-NES is for....
The size of Mini NES is looks so pretty.
Looks like handbag for woman accesory.
looking good in glasses Alex
@DarthNocturnal
That's because Nintendo don't want you to know that the NES Mini - was inside the NES all along...
@bherdm My FX-888 is longing for things to solder.
You still have a VHS player? WTF?
"This specific box size"
10/10 video Alex
Cute vid
LOL! Bless the Nintendo news drought for producing videos like this.
@shani Wait until Nintendo reveals the NX; the same people who are complaining that NintendoLife have nothing to report on will complain that they're sick of all the NX articles, even if they aren't rumors.
I^hope Prof. Peter Pringle gets his own NL column.
2 out of 10......not enough NX
@BlatantlyHeroic HOLD IT! They didn't try fitting it in the cartridge slot!
@allav866 Why would they? At least to me that makes no sense. If someone doesn't want to know all about NX, right now there's virtually no reason to go to this or any other Nintendo-related news website. Color Splash already got its review, we won't hear much about Breath of the Wild and the rest is just 3DS releases, some youtube videos or NX rumours.
With the reveal of NX at least there would be news again. If it would be too much news for anyone, they don't have to read all of it.
In the past, NL was part of my daily news routine, but after Breath of the Wild was revealed, there seemed to just be nothing newsworthy coming around anymore. The only reason I open NL occasionally is to see if Nintendo have revealed what NX is.
Maybe others would complain about too much NX news then, but I surely wouldn't. For me, there can't be "too much news" about this.
I'd take this over an NX rumor any day. The question is, will it fit in your pocket?
Lol, very informative!
But what about a buttered sandwich? Will the butter leave enough space for the NES mini?
Thank you Alex, as mentioned above, for keeping things light-hearted and silly funny
Was this a sponsored ad?
My only fear with it being so small is that the weight of the controller cord may make the console fall from the entertainment center.
Funny video, love Nintendolife!!!
US question. Have any folks caught a pre-order listing go live for this thing? I check daily, Amazon, Target, and Best Buy (US versions) and nada. Got so bored I ordered retrousb's AVS, though I'm glad I did, it's amazeballs.
It can fit in any tackle box. And pets love it too.
