SteamWorld Heist has proven rather popular so far on the 3DS eShop, but for those yet to dive in there can still be a little confusion over what kind of game it is. It's nothing like SteamWorld Dig, for one thing.
So when we say it's a 2D skill-driven turn-based strategy game, putting together the pieces without playing it or watching a lengthy Let's Play isn't necessarily easy. Thankfully a big part of the game's appeal is easy to show - trick shots. As a result the latest video from Image & Form simply showcases some fun shots that demonstrate how strategy, skill and occasionally a slice of luck can combine for some outrageous moments.

That last one was super awesome!
SUCH a good game.
Last night I took a shot off an enemy shield to bounce around and hit them. The aiming/firing mechanic is a key reason the game is so much fun!
..nice shots!..fun game...wonder if Rovio would be upset if they called the next SteamWorld game ..Angry Bullets...?
And this is exactly why at least 2 members of my team have laser guided weaponry . ^_^
Awesome game. But i thought i would watch placer tricks, not an ad. From my own XP, we can do a lot better
Ah I knew that Captain enemy would be there. He'd always have a perfect shot but choose to aim somewhere seemingly random and have the bullet ricochet around the entire map before taking out your legs. Taking him down was super satisfying!
