It's been a whirlwind of a week for all those interested in the happenings of Nintendo, so we can't blame you if some of the big news somehow slipped under your radar. That's why we have once more cobbled the biggest and best news of the week together with all the eShop releases, our reviews and more.
This week we're looking at Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon's official release with a marginal blind eye to the hiccup from the day before, EA and Nintendo being rumoured to be attempting to reform their working relationship for the NX, and plenty more as we've previously mentioned.

I'm still laughing about Pokémon ripping off the names of one of their former clones...
I'm looking forward to Gen 7! Can't wait to see what the starters look like. I also wonder if they'll still be adding more Mega Pokemon?
@ShadowLuigi2 I'd imagine that they would add a few more Mega Evolutions to the game. Maybe a Mega Raichu? That would be sicc. Or Mega Nidoking. GAWD!
@Dakt You can't say that about a man! He's manly, and that's it.
@MajinCubyan I'm sure a Mega Dragonite wouldn't be THAT broken...
@PlywoodStick dont forget this lol http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Digimon_World_Dawn_and_Dusk
So pokemon, now with more dark souls?

@MajinCubyan True, and those do sound like some really cool Mega Pokemon, but they might also probably focus more on the Pokemon being introduced in the new region.
Great week. I'll surely buy Pokemon Moon or Sun, and I already bought Pokemon Yellow
I remember when EA said they were going to support the wiiU, they put out a half dozen half hearted ports and then ditched, oh except the need for speed port that was solid.
@PlywoodStick I'm still laughing that anyone would think that the Pokémon company is even mildly concerned with those games much less "ripping off" the names.
@rockman_zero Nooooo don't give Nintendo any ideas for what to name the 8th gen entries!
@Kirby_Fan_DL3 I was just talking with someone about that!
@CosmoXY I'm just saying, the lack of creativity in naming generational versions has come full circle.
@PlywoodStick we've had Red & Green/Blue, Gold & Silver, Ruby & Sapphire, Diamond & Pearl, Black & White, X & Y and now Sun & Moon. I don't see how the latest is any more or less creative than what's come before.
My guess is that day and night will play an important part in the new games' story line. If the game is fun and creative, the name and any similarity it may have with other game names will be a non-issue.
@PlywoodStick - Same could be said with mechanics. Digimon fans call bull**** now, but wait till Game Freak start fusing Pokemon together mid match, like they did with Mega Evolution.
I know EA isn't the most loved company around here but I for one would like to see EA games return to Nintendo consoles. I miss Fifa, Madden, Need for Speed, and would like to see games like Mass Effect and Medal of Honor too. Hopefully they can come to an agreement because no matter how you feel about EA they're an important partner to have in the video game industry.
@capitalism
Too bad ea killed Medal of Honor
Ha so EA got dump by Nintendo and is now coming back to recoup? Well now we can see the difference between Nintendo and Sega. EA could killed Sega (after Dreamcast) but not Nintendo (after Wii U). If you can't kill em, join them.
Well as much as I think name creativity needs some work, but I hope that they bring the change clothes from X and Y back because I liked that
@CosmoXY You forgot cystal
Forget Mega Evolutions, for Gen 7 we need MECHA Evolutions.
