If you haven't quite had enough hype from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild yet, then fear not, your 3DS has a fun extra waiting for you. Nintendo has distributed a special guest into the StreetPass Mii Plaza through StreetPass - Eiji Aonuma.
He's in his golden pants, like all of the special guests, and rather humorously his message is "Let's get Wild" - he's a feisty one. Naturally Aonuma-san also has all of the puzzle pieces, because he's awesome like that.
This Mii should be waiting for you on your 3DS, so check it out.

I was really waiting for the Zelda demo to make it to the eShop.
I had to remember it's Nintendo we're talking about.
YAY!
First one since November 2014. They're spoiling us XD
It's not Appearing for me
@Olmectron So are you waiting for world peace too?
No one ever said there would be demo, so I don't get why you would expect it or even wait for that.
@YouSeemFRAZZLED EU didn't get Reggie. Or anything else for ages. This makes it 14 in total so far, by my count. It's just not a feature that's been supported here.
How do you get Spotpass Mii's, the last one I got was in 2012 And I kind of forget how I got it
@MemoDuh Enable spotpass for Mii Plaza. Downloads automatically with a blue light. They are always time-sensitive so you can't get any from previous promotions.
An older man in golden pants walks up and says to me "Let's get wild!" and I am probably running the other way.
@Sakura Spotpass Is Activated in my Old and New 3DS and both are not getting it :/
@MemoDuh I Guess it could be beacuse the Region is Mexico
How many puzzle pieces are there anyway?
@shani Well, yes? What's so bad about wanting World Peace?
I'm not really complaining, and that's clear if you actually read what I wrote. I was hoping it could be released on the eShop, that's not the same as "Nintendo said they would release the demo for everyone, why didn't they do that?". I never said someone else said it would be released.
And, well, my second line was probably biased, but I wasn't really insulting Nintendo nor anyone else in any way. Just stating that Nintendo is known for not releasing a lot of demos, and less when important events are taking place.
I'm hoping for World Peace, of course. I'm a really optimistic person sometimes.
Did he bring a new puzzle. Just finished all of them again last week. Haha
I hope he put a large chested mature female character that bosses you around in Breath of the wild. Party Animal!
@Olmectron: My bad, when I read your sentence "I was really waiting for..." I just thought that you can't "wait" for something that wasn't announced.
And of course I would want world peace too, just used it as an analogy for something that's not announced and might never really happen.
Regarding demos in general: You're right, although the Wii U actually got more demos than the previous consoles, probably because of the eshop. I mean titles like Splatoon, Wonderful101, Bayonetta, for example. But those are completely different from a Zelda game and as much as I would love that (and it's such a torture to wait for the release!), I would never expect a Zelda demo. It would probably be very huge (which doesn't bother me), so the download could take quite a while for some folks.
@shani Alright. Yes, it would be something so great! But I agree, the demo itself would use much storage space, at least around 8GB.
I'm still wishing from the deep of my heart that Nintendo will release something big in the eShop for when the E3 concludes. Be it a demo, or a surprise game. Who knows. Still, I know there are really so few chances for that to happen.
@Olmectron: Yeah, that would be lovely, but like you, I don't expect them to surprise us. The only nice eshop deal is the 41% off on Smash, I just don't get why they didn't do that sooner. I'm actually thinking about selling my Smash copy (the only Wii U that I have on disc) and buying the download version.
@YouSeemFRAZZLED
I know. I was so embarrassed. He walked up to my kid in eplaza, introduced himself and her little catchphrase is burn burn! -_-`
Say that headline to a non gamer and it sounds like something you could get arrested for.
@MemoDuh Try it now and leave your 3DS on for a while. You should get a notification saying "someone from Hyrule is here" after a few minutes. I also didn't receive anything at first, but while I was browsing, I suddenly got the notification.
