If you follow the latest news of non-Nintendo platforms (shock horror), you may well be aware of Metal Gear Solid Producer Hideo Kojima's latest project Death Stranding, an upcoming action game that will be released exclusively on PS4. What you might not be aware of, though, is how its latest E3 trailer feels when played alongside music from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
One fan, who goes by the name of @luulubuu on Twitter, has shared a mash-up of footage from Death Stranding's latest trailer, with recognisable tunes from Link's latest outing on Switch playing over the top. With each scene change and introduction of new on-screen elements fitting every cue in the music, this looks like it could well be the real trailer, and a pretty epic one at that.

In one way it's quite surprising how well music lovingly crafted for a particular project can work in another, but the best of scores can evoke the correct emotions regardless of accompanying imagery.
Now then, who's up for finding the best Super Mario Odyssey song to play over some new Assassin's Creed Odyssey footage?

The thought of Norman Reedus as Link in a live action Legend of Zelda movie flooded my mind while I was watching this, and I couldn't stop laughing haha.
Just started my 3rd BotW play-through. All told I'm now 500+ hours into that game. I do love the subtle music that seems to pop up in all the right places.
I really want MGS Twin Snakes through 4 on Switch. They’d all be so great portable and in HD! I typically dislike mature/war games but the MGS series as a whole is one of the best adventures I’ve ever played through. I cried so much at the end of 3 and 4 - not going to lie.
I guess it wasn't just me then - when I watched the latest trailer of Death Stranding and saw it's only actual gameplay moments made me think of Breath of the Wild gameplay. Walking across big empty spaces, climbing up mountains and sneaking past guardians (sorry invisible black ghost thingys).
Death Stranding looks kind of stupid, honestly. You'd think we would get more information on the plot and gameplay after three years of teasing at E3.
Even better? That implies it looked good. Looked like doodoo to me.
I thought I was pin to hear a “link scream” at the end of the trailer
Marvel: Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover ever
Me:
@cammy I watched the whole thing live last night thinking he was Beedle, this just confirms it. 😊
They left out the part of the trailer where he rips his bloody big toenail off, I was really curious what music went with that.
The ending needed SS music as you fought the Imprisoned.
Very cool. For what I saw last night I probably need to upgrade to a Ps4 Pro for Death Standing. Kojima is crazy - love the guy.
Good. The game can use all the help it gets.
Was looking forward to it only to be treated to a 10 minute walking simulator presentation. :-/
Now all my hype for it is gone.

Well, someone did the Mario Odyssey song over Doom:

Haha, that was great.
Lol. Also that trailer almost revealed nothing. Yes, they went for the mood. And it also gave me a bit of a Botw feeling (though much more sombre). And there seems to be stealth. That's it.
