In July, Switch owners can look forward to the release of Fire Emblem: Three Houses – the latest entry in Nintendo's long-running tactical RPG line, set within a kingdom divided into three states.
In celebration of this upcoming title, GameStop is offering a special deal in North America. If you pre-order and purchase the game ahead of its release, you'll receive an exclusive pin set representing each of the three houses. The three houses are known as the Blue Lions, the Black Eagles and the Golden Deer. As noted below, supplies are limited.
This deal applies to both the limited and standard version, and you'll still receive the pin set if you pre-order a copy online.
As previously confirmed, Fire Emblem: Three Houses arrives on 26th July. In the game, you control a mercenary who winds up at the prestigious Officier's Academy. From here, you join one of three houses, train up a group of students and then embark on various missions across the land.
Is this enough to make you pin down a pre-order for this game right now? Tell us in the comments.

InB4 JK Rowling confirms the main character gay
I'm just happy Nintendo isn't selling 3 separate games..
@PBandSmelly J.K Rowling only confirms characters are gay years and years after the story is already finished, so people will talk about how modern and politically correct she was.
I’m waiting to redeem one of my Switch vouchers for it.
I was going to buy it anyway. This is just an added bonus.
Day 1, but annoyingly despite releasing internationally, the Japanese release does not support any language aside from Japanese apparently. I understand that when games don't get released at the same time in different regions, but it's really annoying when they totally could, but don't.
I'll either have to import the western version, download it, or actually work on improving my Kanji for once. Lord knows I need the practice, lol.
Cool. Still not a fan of GameStop though. If I get physical then I’ll just go with Amazon. Currently I may have to go digital for the game voucher deal though, due to saving $20s...
Please stop Gamestop exclusives...
Wow this comment section is not off to a great start.
The pins look nice though.
Nice little extra if you're not getting it elsewhere at a discount, I guess. I always end up losing things like this, though.
Neat bonus. I already preordered it at Best Buy to use my now expired GCU, though. Looking forward to the game regardless!
@MattFox
I think it is better to just admit the fact as it is originally intended. Most HP books came out in early 2000s for Merlin’s sake!
@Heavyarms55 First: very cool that you understand some Japanese, very cool. But I don't quite understand your post, do you live in Japan? If so, that would make sense (and I then I understand your frustration)
@dugan Yup, I live in Japan. And I would hope I understand some Japanese after living here for several years at this point, plus studying it before I moved here. lol
But yeah, despite being region free and released at the same time usually, not all Switch games released in Japan actually have the international languages. Splatoon 2 didn't for example. The Japanese release only had Japanese.
Wow! that must be so cool living there! My nephew lives there and I would love to visit. Of course the culture is great in many ways, but to be in a place where gaming is more accepted than here in the U.S. must be nice. And access to a greater variety of games.
I am unsure about about Three Houses, I love the look and the idea, but I got about half way through Awakening on my 3ds before the difficulty of the strategy overwhelmed me. Although, that was years ago, hopefully I am a better gamer now. I hope you enjoy the game, whatever language!
I really want those pins! But don't think I can as I don't live in America :/
I wonder if north america will include canada
@Wiss2wiss Agreed. Instead of writing a new book with a woman/girl/non-gender person as the main character she keeps changing a tale from two decades ago. Let me have fond memories of the book, gee.
I'll pass, lol! I got the limited edition at BB with my gamer club account discount.
Anyone knows if the game has a Japanese dub option?
@MattFox she confirmed this ten years ago, it isn't news. And she did that because fans had already figured it out. But how about you go and vent this on an Harry Potter site instead of a Nintendo one?
@VoodooTrumpet Why are you waiting to redeem it? Why not just redeem it now?
@Heavyarms55 Sounds like you have it all figured out. Also, the voucher entices one to download.
@Shiro28 It's not confirmed either way, but the Switch has set a pretty strong standard for dual audio. Nintendo originally said they wouldn't do dual audio for Breath of the Wild, then said the same thing for Xenoblade 2. Even the E3 trailer for Xenoblade 2 has it in big letters at the top that it would NOT have dual audio. But fan out cry was so strong that they released a language pack later for BotW and offered dual audio at launch for Xenoblade as a download.
After that, big third party games like Ys VIII offered the dual audio download as well. Octopath Traveler had dual audio and it's worth mentioning Nintendo published that. Puyo Puyo Tetris did NOT have dual audio, but the recently released Puyo Puyo Champions did and the developers mentioned they included it since fans were disappointed last time.
Final Fantasy X is really the only high profile Switch release that didn't include dual audio. But then Square turned around and gave dual audio for FFXII.
Either way, we won't know for sure until they make official announcements or people get ahold of review copies. But even if they say no, if enough people contact them wanting dual audio, they'd likely include it later as DLC.
@Deltath not available for pre-purchase yet
@VoodooTrumpet Oh, man. I thought it was available to purchase since it was listed on the store. I hadn't realized it was just a placeholder essentially.
I had it pre-ordered at GS, then bought 2 game passes without thinking, pre-plan was: only buying 3 more triple-A titles this year, Links Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3 and this and GS lied saying LM3 was due out 12.31, ...two days after changing my preorder to LM so as to not waste my 3rd game purchase, the news drops of the 10/31st date, killing my getting the pin deal: Moral of story? I hate GS!
