UK physical chart data is now in for the week ending 6th November, revealing that Mario Party Superstars has remained in third place for a second consecutive week.
Still sitting comfortably as Switch's highest-charting game for now, the latest entry in the Mario Party franchise couldn't compete with new multiplatform release, Call of Duty: Vanguard; Activision's title managed to knock FIFA 22 off top spot for the first time, earning itself a debut number one.
Four Switch exclusives can be found in the top ten (counting the separately-listed Switch edition of Minecraft, that is), and the new Fortnite Minty Legends Pack actually sold best on Switch, too, landing in ninth spot.
Interestingly, Just Dance 2022 only managed eleventh place in its opening week, although that game also sold best on Switch. Nintendo's platform accounted for 88% of the game's sales in its opening weekend.
Here's a look at this week's top ten all formats chart:

Superstars is the best Mario Party game since MP5. Go buy this game and let’s hope for more boards.
Agree with comments that Mario Party Superstars is amazing...it deserves to sell trillions! I think it will be a long term seller, coming up to Christmas. I'd recommend anyone to buy it, even if you play alone as the online full board games are so fantastic!
I was going to skip Mario Party but the comments above mine have changed my mind! Thanks
@Kid_Sickarus You won't regret it. It's Mario Kart 8 levels of quality! Finally a new Mario spin off worthy of the Mario name.
I might have to check Mario Party out, the previous Switch game was pretty poor but this looks much better despite the lack of boards
Nintendo's share of Just Dance 2021 sales:
> Just Dance 2020: 55% on Switch, 21% on Wii
> Just Dance 2021: 89% on Switch
> Just Dance 2022: 88% on Switch
Honestly wouldn't be shocked if this series just became a Nintendo-exclusive franchise at some point in the future.
@Kid_Sickarus you won’t regret it. It’s tons of fun. Even if you just play the ice hockey mini game 😅
i have purchased three copies alone for family at christmas this year, gonna be a mario party filled holiday season!
@carlos82 I agree there should be more boards, but the boards that are there, are fantastic.
I’m pretty sure if this sells well, there will be DLC down the line.
@dewokkel yeah they're certainly better then the disappointing boards on the other game, I've just got Warioware but will be looking to get this soon
I played it this weekend with friends, and it was the most fun I've had in literally months. I'm happy the game came out.
I wish we had a weekly US sales chart like we do in the UK…always fascinating to see what Brits are buying.
@uptownsoul
Physical only. These UK charts are always retail-only.
@uptownsoul
It'll go down from 88% to like 85% lol

Previous Just Dance has never charted among the Top 20 best-selling digital games on PlayStation or Xbox during their launch months. I see no reason why it would be any different this year.
Just Dance is simply nowhere near as big on PS/XB than it is on Nintendo hardware, regardless of whether you are referring to retail or digital sales. That's all there is to it.
@uptownsoul
Just Dance isn't selling much digital copies on non-Nintendo hardware.

No Just Dance here.
@uptownsoul
Okay, but digital revenue includes not only digital sales of games, but also DLC, microtransactions, lootboxes, season passes, subscriptions, and any other type of in-game monetization. Whereas retail revenue is just retail sales.
This doesn't tell us anything about the retail vs digital sales of Just Dance.
Mario Party SuperStars sales only dropped 18% from its 1st to 2nd week. By comparison, Super Mario Party sales dropped by 45% from its 1st to 2nd week.
Mario Party SuperStars sales are now outpacing Super Mario Party sales by ~10% at UK retail in its first 2 weeks in the market.
