It's been a little while since another Pokémon has joined the adorable Build-A-Bear line-up of Pocket Monsters. Today, the hugely popular build-you-own-toy company has revealed the next little 'mon that you can take home and squish to your heart's content.
Leafeon, the Grass-type Eeveelution and number 470 in the Pokédex, is now available to buy online from the Build-A-Bear Workshop. This is the sixth Eevee evolution to get its own toy - with the last one, Umbreon, launching way back in August.
Like all the other online bundles, this Leafeon comes with its own little cape and sleeper. Even the stoniest of hearts can't look at Leafeon in those clothes without a smile on their face - they're all green and grassy-themed to match!
Can we also just point out how terrifying its cry on the Build-A-Bear website sounds? So maybe don't squeeze your plush too hard so you don't have to listen to it over and over.
The best news is that you can get Leafeon from both the UK and US stores! The bundle - which comes with all the clothes - is £52 on the UK store or $65 on the North American one.
If the pattern is correct, the next Eeveelution we'll be seeing is Glaceon, so if that's your favourite, hopefully you'll hear something soon!
Will you be adding Leafeon to your collection? Let us know in the comments.

I cannot believe how expensive that is 😱🤯
You don't evolve Eevee into Leafeon with a leaf stone, silly!
@KayFiOS : You can in Sword/Shield, and likewise, Magnemite can evolve into Magnezone with a Thunder Stone.
Some games contain unorthodox evolution methods for the minority of Pokémon with traditionally more convoluted methods in their earlier appearances.
EDIT : Apparently, Leafeon can be obtained using a Leaf Stone in BD/SP in addition to the normal Moss Rock method.
@Silly_G That's a good change. I haven't played SwSh or BDSP, in the latter's case it's because I look at it and it seems unfocused, like they couldn't decide if they wanted to be faithful to the original or not, and being able to use a leaf stone to get Leafeon, yet TMs being single use only again drive that point further.
My bedroom is full of Leafeons that I can already squish lol.
@Otoemetry I payed almost €300 for a Gigantamax Eevee Plush. It's a lot to pay but it's very well made.
@KayFiOS : BD/SP is a tough sell for lapsed fans. As a diehard Pokémon fan, I wouldn’t recommend it to those looking to get back into the franchise. The reveal trailer was crushingly disappointing with those cheap and nasty chibi graphics.
Hell, I’d still triple dip on the remakes if they made one that was faithful to the changes introduced in Platinum, but that won’t happen.
Although the prices are a bit steep, I would hop on the moment I saw an Aipom plush.
@Silly_G Like, for the longest time I thought remakes of my favorite gen might bring me back into Pokémon, since they could showcase what the series is about today and why I should embrace modern Pokémon games like ORAS, but it went so hard in the other direction, playing it safe while still trying to sneak in some changes. I'm really hoping they do better with BW remakes, as that was the last Pokémon game I played to the credits. That game had all kinds of cinematic shots, it's practically begging for a 3D remake that doesn't try to be true to the original!
@KayFiOS : Absolutely. I was merely hoping for the Sword/Shield treatment regarding the Gen IV remakes, but it seems that even my conservative expectations can be knocked down a peg. I think my biggest disappointment of all was with the fact that the games were outright unfinished at launch (a first for the franchise) requiring a download of more than 2GB! The cinematics weren’t even on the cart, and it’s only a few days ago that the GTS has finally been accessible (where it was previously blocked by an NPC). And the PAID subscription “service” Pokémon Home still doesn’t support BD/SP or Legends Arceus, which is utterly inexcusable, especially with their laughably high annual fee.
Gen V is probably my favourite generation after Gen II, so I’m really hoping that they do it justice (and include the sequels as well, or they might as well not even bother). As Game Freak seem to be moving toward open world experiences for the series from hereon in, I expect that any remakes will not stray too far from the source material, for better and for worse.
At this point, a retread of the “Let’s Go” treatment would be an improvement over BD/SP.
Just ordered!! Been waiting years for the Leafeon drop! you noted in the article Glaceon is next to be released but they have been out for a while now, at least in the U.S... I believe Sylveon is the last eeveelution waiting for their Build-a-Bear reveal!
@Royalblues there is a Vaporeon BaB plush out already
I literally bought this the very second I saw this
