If you're eager to get an update on the upcoming Switch game Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Ubisoft has now confirmed it will be featuring the game at its upcoming 'Ubisoft Forward' event.
Yes, following on from the news of the broadcast's September 10th return, the company has now provided some additional details - locking in some of the games that will be present. The free-to-play title Brawlhalla will also be in attendance.
"Ubisoft Forward will bring you updates on upcoming games like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones, as well as a special Assassin’s Creed showcase offering a peek at the future of the franchise. For even more updates, be sure to catch our pre-show starting at 8:35pm CEST / 11:35am PT for news on the latest seasons, characters, and content from your favorite live games, like Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, Anno 1800, and more."
As mentioned above, there will be a pre-show as well, where fans can catch even more details about Ubisoft's current lineup. Ubisoft Forward will be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch. There'll also be Twitch rewards, allowing players to unlock special items in select Ubisoft titles.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (arriving this October) is a follow-up to the 2017 original, which has now been played by more than 10 million Switch users. Most recently, a season pass and gold edition was announced for the second game. Perhaps this upcoming broadcast will reveal more about this. That's cool, glad to see Ubisoft giving this game the marketing it deserves. Not interested in any of the other titles here, but will gladly watch the Sparks of Hope section.
I wonder if there will be new Imagine and Petz games on Switch / PS4 / PS5 / XBOX.
How about a new Fenyx?
Got into Mario + Rabbids this past summer, during the trial. Wish I played it sooner. Looking forward to the new game, so will be tuning in for that and Brawlhalla, I do enjoy playing that game from time to time.
This better not be the rumoured direct or my Switch is hitting the wall!
I'm excited for the game but not sure I want to see any more of it. Already know I'll buy it.
@strollin_stu To be fair even during E3 when Ubisoft already showcased Mario Rabbids, Nintendo would still also show a trailer for it I believe, so I don't think this impacts a Direct chance too heavily.
I'm pretty excited for this game!
I'm not sitting through however minutes of AAA stuff not coming to Switch for some news on Rabbids.
This game is gonna be amazing but with the original permanently on sale I’ll be waiting to buy it this time next year. 😊
Makes sense, it is just over a month away
I think I've seen all I need to see before reviews come out to determine whether I'll grab it or not but more footage is always appreciated. Time to wait patiently for those typical Ubisoft sales!
I'm really looking forward to this, praying it's a solid sequel and they don't mess with the formula too much...
I would have thought this game already came out months ago. Seems like forever since it was announced.
@strollin_stu not much, if anything.
