OMG GUYS a Metroidvania with pixel art! Finally! I've been waiting for so long!
looks a bit stiff.. one MVania I can 100% recommend id Haiku the Robot!!! 10/10 on the PC at least and I see no reason why it can't run perfectly on Switch!!!
OMG Guys, I have been waiting for a Metroidvania with pixel art because that is my jam 😁
I enjoy them more than most anything else.
Physical copy to go alongside all the others in my collection please.
Looks pretty; definitely adding to my wishlist.
Been a while since we had a very good metroidvania. Who knows, this might be another one.
I think Islets is the last one? I didn’t really like Moonscars. Please give me recommendations if I missed one in the mean time!
Skill tree, crafting and "loot" has me intrigued for sure.
Really like the visual style overall. The player character could use a better walk/run animation when you're not shooting, though. Compared to the detail on a lot of other things, it just looks kind of stiff and basic.
Graphically, it looks a bit washed out and basic, but the gameplay looks like it could be really fun! That walking animation is a bit jarring though... maybe the perceived lack of upper body movement?
I don't like the design and the music, I prefer something like shantae or blasphemous.

Have you tried Afterimage?
I've put in over 70 hours into it and love it.
The art is amazing.
Recommended if you haven't.
The gameplay looks solid but that low-effort animation on the main character is just intolerable to me. I just don't know... there are better choices out there.
We're coming to a point where "pixelated visuals" and "pixel art" are becoming two entirely different things. This one is the former. There's a huge leap between serviceable visuals (as an excuse to not being able to draw/hire artists) and actual effort put into making good pixel art.
