Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)
Putting the first one out on Switch but keeping Galaxy 2 all locked up feels plain wrong. They're both stratospherically brilliant games and deserve to be on every Nintendo console from now on. It's more likely that people will have missed the second entry, too, and we're jealous of the brilliant time they'll have when they finally get to play it. Please.

Chrono Trigger (SNES)
It's a classic that hasn't seen a Nintendo console re-release since the DS version back in *checks notes* 2008. We've got both that and the SNES original, of course, and we may have dabbled with other versions in the past, but it's time for Chrono Trigger to come home.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GCN)
We've had the original, it was very good, and now we want Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. And 3, naturellement. And PINBALL, while you're at it.
[Insert Federation Force joke here]
Metroid Prime 4 (Switch)
Oh, and the fourth one, too! You might have forgotten this one as it was announced way back in the Cretaceous Period.
Whether it's still a Switch game or if it'll have one foot in the next generation is difficult to guess until we know the backwards compatibility situation on 'Switch 2', if there is one. Regardless, we expected a lengthy wait, but we're a little surprised we haven't heard anything about this in the last decade or two.
